CargoTime 01/2023 the CargoLine customer magazine
The current issue of CargoTime (01/2023) offers focussed insights into logistics. At the centre is an innovative project that accompanies the generational change in family-run Cargoline companies. Uwe Hofmann and his daughter provide practical insights.
Under the motto ‘A networked approach to HR issues’, alliance partners are developing new HR approaches for the logistics industry. In Transport Logistics, Cargoline is the first general cargo cooperation to use its own Amazon Echo skill for voice-controlled shipment tracking and vehicle ordering. In practice, the focus is on the environmentally friendly connection between Bübchen and Hartmann International. SAF-Holland’s special transport logistics with the Kissel haulage company is also highlighted. Readers will soon learn about anniversaries such as 130 years of Cargoline history and Bernd Höppner’s ten years as Managing Director. Insights into the safe handling of hazardous goods and the 30-year youth of the co-operation round off the picture. ‘International’ presents a portrait of Torrestir, one of Portugal’s most successful general cargo service providers. In the ‘Sustainability’ section, the cooperation adopts a Sustainability Agenda 2030 to specifically increase climate protection. NightlineEco and NightlineBalance also offer two transport options for reducing emissions.
Discover innovative logistics solutions, strategic decisions and sustainable measures from Cargoline in this issue. We hope you enjoy reading it!
