On the occasion of International Breast Cancer Day on October 1, the freight forwarder Klumpp + Müller shows social commitment. Klumpp + Müller donates 500 euros to the self-help group “Einfach Wir – für junge Frauen und Mütter mit und nach Krebs”. The association was founded in 2015 to provide support and a place to go for young women suffering from cancer.
“Simply us,” emphasizes the founder of the association, who herself was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 33: “I felt like I was alone at that age with this diagnosis. That’s why we founded the association. For eight years now, we have been an important point of contact for young women with and after cancer.”
The donation from Klumpp + Müller will be used for various projects of the association. “We are very grateful for this support,” says the founder. “The money will be used for speakers, our “Muddy Angel Run” and other activities we plan throughout the year.”
