Klumpp + Müller relies on shuttle warehouse from Toyota

25 aisles, four levels, pallet sizes of at least 1 x 1 metre and a maximum of 1.40 to 1.20 metres with a height of 1.60 metres – and all this on 900 square metres with an average storage time of 45 seconds. The dimensions could not be better for the new Toyota Radioshuttle warehouse at Klumpp + Müller! It turns our warehouse into a deep-storage solution that enables high-density work. Under these conditions, we can now store palletised goods (big packs and fragile goods of the same batch and weight that cannot be stacked) even more flexibly and efficiently. The advantage for our customers thanks to this ultra-modern automation: storage and retrieval now have the attribute ‘Zack-Zack’.

Thanks to optimised space management, our teams now achieve a very high level of handling quality. And: the risk of damage is further reduced thanks to automation. ‘With our new Toyota Shuttle warehouse, we have opted for a cost-optimised warehouse system that also creates the highest possible efficiency for our customers,’ explains Winfried Reimer, authorised signatory at Klumpp + Müller and responsible for contract logistics.
